Winery Offers $10,000-A-Month Dream Job →
This will be my new job.  I’ll let you know when I have my new address.  Since “on a constant quest for good wine” is my middle name, it’s a perfect fit.  I don’t play Liar’s Dice (though I’d like to learn), but I do play poker, and I can teach the good folks at Murphy-Goode Winery how to play bunco if they don’t already know.

Rival high school football teams replay tie game... →
The Stateliners played the Easton Red Rovers to a 7-7 tie in 1993. Sunday, the two teams met again to settle the score. That’s right. The same players from that 1993 game, now in their early 30s, took the field again, adding a new wrinkle to the 102-game rivalry.

Left Lane Drivers →
While I’m thinking about it, this is a cause I can get behind! It drives me crazy when people are in the far left lane, yet driving slower than many, if not all, of the other cars. People: Use the left lane for passing and then move to the right, even if you are driving fast.  There’s no reason to stay in the left lane unless you are moving past other cars.  Is this so difficult?  It...

A thief who used Google Earth to zoom in on historic buildings before stripping lead from their roofs has been jailed — just weeks after being spared jail… Magistrates heard how Berge, a builder by trade, would find a potential target on the popular internet tool, which shows aerial photographs of towns across the world, to pinpoint buildings with lead roof tiles.
